MINERAL WOOL BOARD:
FlameGuard MWB
 Fire Retardant Mineral Wool Board:
FlameGuard MWB is a fire & heat resistant mineral wool boards coated on both sides with FlameGuard CP intumescent coating, affixed with FlameGuard EFM expanding sealant, to prevent the passage of fire and smoke and the transfer of heat. Final aesthetic protective top coating of FlameGuard FRP for moisture protection. It is specifically designed for sealing around cable & service penetrations in walls and floors.

Dimension:
Outer Boards – 2 x 595mm x 1195mm x 23mm (Each Board 0.71 Sq mtrs). Size subject to change. Infill Rockwool Insulation pre – coated with FlameGuard Intumescent coatings > 1mm DFT – 4x 1mtr x 0.50mtr x 50mm (0.50 sq mtr each infill insulation panel).
BUILDING INTERIOR & EXTERIOR PROTECTION:
FlameGuard FRP:
Fire Resistive/Retardant Paints to delay ignition/surface burning for Interior & Exterior Substrates
FlameGuard FRP is premium quality water based, nontoxic thin film fire retardant paint formulated to delay ignition for 10-15 minutes and reduce surface burning rate of interior substrates, including gypsum board, composite architectural panels, oriented strand board and other wood products. This product is suitable for residential/multifamily, commercial for both new and reconstruction projects
Coverage: 10 Sq.m/ 5 Kg @ 250 Mic DFT

 Structural steel protection:

FlameGuard ZP - Primer:
Epoxy based zinc rich primer for fire protection coating for structural steel. To protect steel against corrosion & prepare the surface.
Coverage: 21 Sq.m/ 4 kgs / @ DFT 125 microns
FlameGuard SSP - Base Coat:
During fire when the structural steel temperature approaches 538°C it lose 60% of its yield strength and may lead to the building collapse. FlameGuard SSP Base Coat – coated to desired thickness prevents steel structures from crossing the critical temperature of 538°C, thus delaying the collapse of loaded steel structures for up to 2 hours and providing time for evacuation & fire fighting. The smooth fibre free robust decorative surface allows the architect to use the structural steel work as an integral part of the building design. Rapid installation with typically DFT's below 2mm, appearance of the structure is preserved without affecting the load bearing calculations. In case of fire, the film expands to many times its original film thickness. This provides an insulating foam-like coating or char to protect steelwork against heat build-up and the effects of fire.
Coverage: F 30 - 8 Sq.m / 5 kgs @ DFT 320 microns

FlameGuard SSP - Top Coat:
Thin film high solids intumescent coating provide maximum protection & enables a high quality finish to be obtained similar to conventional decorative paints. A hard decorative self-extinguishing, fast drying finish to seal the basecoat & provide an attractive high quality finish. Recommended as a top coat over FlameGuard SSP Base Coat for optical reasons and moisture protection. The coating facilitates as sealer function to prevent early degradation and inactivation of intumescent layer. Available in various RAL shades.
Coverage: F 30 - 15 Sq.m/ 5 kgs @ DFT 180 microns

FlameGuard CP
Intumescent fire protection coating for combustible single & bunched electrical cables
and cable trays

Long runs of unprotected, PVC or plastic rubber sheathed combustible cables, usually supported by vertical or horizontal cable trays and holders, are prone to rapid fire spread and excessive damage. Unprotected cables burn & propagate fire after only a few minutes of exposure to fire. Power current for vital control functions, supplies and services fails very quickly. Burning cable sheaths carry the fire rapidly forward as fast as 20 meters per minute. They gives off aggressive vapors. The cable trays, if not protected, are exposed to the risk from melting and collapsing. Cables, cable trays and holders protected with FlameGuard CP help prevent damage or keep it within reasonable limits. The time that elapses before the current fails is increased many times. The indirect damage from cable fires (fire travel, breakdowns, corrosion resulting from harmful gases affecting sensitive instruments) is generally greater than the
f ire damageinitially visible.
FlameGuard CP is a water-based intumescent coating which is designed to prevent ignition, flame spread & smoke emission along the jacketing of electrical (or other) cables and to provide a thermal barrier for protection against heat damage. FlameGuard CP will also prevent a short circuit within an electrical cable from starting a fire and will help identify the location of such a short circuit by forming an intumescent char at the spot. The coating can be applied to grouped cables or single cables. When exposed to flame or to a temperature above 175ºC, the coating forms a protective intumescent char. (This char should be removed completely and clean cables should be recoated if intumescences should occur). The coating foams up under the effect of heat to form an insulating layer. There is no sub sequent burning of protected cables after the direct effect of fire has been halted.
The thermal conductivity of a FlameGuard CP coating that has not foamed is about the same as that of a plastic cable sheath, which means that the higher temperature of the conductor is raised only insignificantly in cables protected with FlameGuard CP. As only a relatively thin coating is needed, it allows radiation of heat from cables during operation. The current-carrying capacity remains virtually unchanged. The cured coating is flexible and adapts to the usual movements and bending without flaking. Its premium latex binder system is totally resistant to water and will not re-emulsify after drying. FlameGuard CP reduces the spread of flame in cable runs and prevents the emission of hydrochloric gases in cable fires. The release of hydrochloric acids vapors is slowed down considerably.Acid vapors that are released are neutralized. The upgradation of existing cables to the highest grade of f ire safety is possible with the coating of FlameGuard CP. Additionally the thin film coatings will maintain circuit integrity to small diametrical cables in restricted applications. The coating of the entire length of cables to maintain the power supply to important equipment while data are being saved or a fire extinguished (recommended dry film thickness 1.6 mm). Partial coating of cables (4 m length @ every 10 m interval, recommended dry film thickness of 1.6 mm) to prevent f ire from spreading along cable runs. The cable joints and around cable crossing should be coated at 1.5meteronboth sides of joints.
Coverage: Single Cable - 1.75 Sq.m / 5 Kg @DFT 1.5 mm Thickness
Grouped /Bunched /Jacketed Cables - 1.43 Sq.m / 5 Kg @DFT 2 mm Thickness
